Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil

Hey, y'all! I'm here today to tell you about a product I've been using for just around a month now.
It is called Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil (as you may have guessed because of the title.) *

This is a new-ish product on the market that is supposed to be used for removing your makeup (wipe/cotton pad free) and moisturizing your skin. Technically, it does say that it's for dry skin, but who cares about technicalities? I, myself, have oily skin and have found nothing but good in using this product.
I think I paid $5.97 for this at Walmart, which is relatively cheap for a makeup remover with so much product in it.
As you can see in the picture, it contains jojoba and macadamia oil, which is said to be miraculous for hair and skincare.

"Dry skin has specific needs to feel its best, it needs the right clean and care. Go beyond clean..."
"Cleansing oil instantly dissolves impurities and long-wear makeup with no greasy residue."
(Then it states what is in the formula which I have already told you.)
"In 1 use: skin is deeply cleaned, hydrated, and feels velvety soft.
After 1 week: 100% of women felt skin was smoother & softer."

Basically, the directions tell you to use one or two pumps of the product on your dry face and hands, massaging it in and working all of your makeup off. It then tells you to rinse your face well to emulsify the oil, and of course, wash the makeup and leftover oil away.

I personally do it just like this: two pumps in my hands (guilty of using three sometimes), rub them together, then massage it into my face in circular motions. I spend a little bit of extra time on my eye area because all of the eyeliner and mascara. By the time I feel like I've rubbed enough, I look in the mirror and cringe because it sort of makes me look like a monster before I rinse. I proceed to rinse my face well of the oil and makeup, then follow up with a wet washcloth to make sure it has all come off. Sometimes I continue on with a face wash and moisturizer, but sometimes I am way too lazy for that.

I usually wear a full face of makeup (the whole nine yards!) and I was tired of buying packages of wipes all the time. This removes makeup like a dream. Seriously. After this little routine, my face is completely bare of all of my makeup (even my stubborn eye makeup) and it feels refreshed and moisturized. This will remove ANYTHING from my face. Waterproof mascara, foundation, powder, lip stains/lipsticks, etc. I don't feel that this leaves an oiliness on my skin after removal or anything.

My only complaint about this is that when I bought it, the package kept slowly leaking right around the lid. I tightened it really well and the problem was fixed!

I can't believe how much I love this right now. In fact, it may be my new holy grail makeup remover. ;-)

I think this is totally worth a try, for anyone, whether you have dry, combination, or oily skin (like me!) I would invite you to come use mine...but that would be weird.

Hope you enjoyed this post, beauties!
It really has been ages.
Have a blessed day! xox
* disclaimer: products were bought with my own hard-earned money, I am not being paid to review this, opinions are my own, all that jazz.

Black Radiance Eye Appeal™ Shadow Collection

Hey, guys! This is another episode of “What will Amber review toay?!” Well, if you can’t tell by the name, the answer to that question issssss…
(is the suspense killing you yet?)
The Black Radiance 8-pan eyeshadow palettes!
I have all three of the palettes to review for you today that I’ve been testing out a bit over the past couple of weeks.
Backstory (as always): I was down in Texas in a Walmart that I’d never been to before and BAM, I see this brand. What reallu struck my interest about it was the fact that these palettes look almost exactly the same as the Wet n Wild Color Icon 8-pan palettes. (Does anyone know if this brand is affiliated with WNW?) So, I’m not going to lie… I was curious if the quality of these would be just as good as the Wet n Wild ones, because as we know, WNW eyeshadows are the bomb.com. What I’ve found out is that I am NOT in any way disappointed with this brand or these palettes.

Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder (LE)

It is no question that Maybelline puts out a lot of new products. It's also no question that they're my favourite brand. The problem is that so many things that they put out are limited edition!

Now, I'm not one to complain too much, but I hate when I start loving a product and they have it available only for a limited time.
- Small rant over - ;)

Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm

Guess. What. I. Finally. Found.
I was walking through Wal-Mart the other night at 12:30 AM... because that's when a pro goes grocery shopping/oops-I-bought-more-makeup shopping.
Also, I am guilty of being a night owl.
Back to my story: I decided to give the beauty section a little visit (my mistake... couldn't help myself) and out of the corner of my eye when I was looking at some Maybelline mascaras, I saw the new line of Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balms. Being me, I almost screamed out of excitement.
I know that it doesn't sound like it should be this exciting, but I've been seeing these via my favourite Instagram accounts for weeks. And I wanted them... oh, so badly, to see what the hype was all about.
Honestly, I didn't know if our Wal-Mart was ever going to get them... you know how Oklahoma is. Approximately ten fashionable minutes late to everything. ;)
But they did.

I admit to going a little cray-cray and picking up all nine shades.
Isn't the packaging adorable? They're so cute and chubby... Haha.

Quick Update: June 9th, 2013

Whew! I haven't been dedicating myself to this blog as much as I should. And I know that I say this every dang time... but I will try to update this as much as I can. It's hard to stay in the flow of posting. Anyway... I'm on summer vacation now. Actually, I have been for a whole month now. I should have more time to prepare and post more blog posts. I've been a little lazy.

Influenster Sugar 'n Spice VoxBox 2013

Hey guys! I’m back again (whuttt? A whole month hasn’t passed since my last post?) because I found an amazing surprise on my porch when I woke up this morning. On March 4th, I got my confirmation email saying that I was going to receive the second Influenster VoxBox of the 2013, entitled ‘Sugar ‘n Spice”. Now, lemme tell you something. After the initial excitement set in that I was getting this box, I was in a temporary vegetative state whilst waiting for my box… I swear, my brothers thought I was going insane, sitting on the porch every day and barking at all the cars going by. Just kidding. I was, indeed, checking outside every 10 minutes to see if it came, though.
